Hi lovely people,
Dorien and I were in Antwerp last week, to visit the different PR agencies were we could discover the new trends and brands for next fall and winter. After that long day we really needed some food to restore our powers! And what is a better place in Antwerp to enjoy a lovely meal then Balls & Glory?
Balls & Glory is located at De markt in FelixPakhuis, close to the MAS. We can sure say that this is a lovely location. Not only the exterior is pretty, but also the interior is lovely. The long wooden tables filled with grapes in a bowl, a bottle of water and napkins are really cozy looking. The nice reading corner is a lovely place to sit back, relax and enjoy a good lemonade. Another good thing to know is that Wim Ballieu, owner of Balls & Glory, also recently won a Golden Palm for this innovative restaurant concept.
Make sure you definitely try out one of their delicious meatballs the next time you’re in Antwerp, Bruges or Ghent. Because: ‘a meatball a day, keeps the doctor away’! Take a look on their site to check out the right address and opening hours. Big thumbs up for Wim, and I hope one day he would like to seduce Hasselt with his great Balls & Glory-concept
Hi lovely people,
Art was, is and will always be a very good way to communicate with people all over the world. Sometimes art is an answer to problems or a gateway to another world. But most of all, art is there to love and enjoy!
Another thing that there is to love and enjoy, is food. Bring these two together and something wonderful happens. That’s exactly what Caitlin Williams Freeman thought! Caitlin is a lovely lady who works in The Blue Bottom café in San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art. She and her team sells wonderful pastries, based on art.
Enjoy but watch out, you might get hungry !
